Betwixt and Between

The bit between Christmas and the new year always feels a bit betwixt and between! So I thought I’d share a few fun facts about me over the next few days, that you may or may not already know…

I found one of my punk postcards for sale on Ebay Canada!

I was the punk postcard girl with orange spikey hair! The photo session was with my friend Danny Fury, and the photographer was David Burder from the Royal Photographic Society. We visited many popular tourist locations in London.

The postcards are still being sold today and I’ve been told they are also sold in Europe!

I also featured on the cover of the Royal Photographic magazine THE PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNAL. the edition was published on 1st January 1986 and is available to view on the archive page.

I’m also honoured to be a part of post punk-goth history, in a Postpunk Project book called ‘Some Wear Leather, Some Wear Lace‘ The full, Worldwide History of Postpunk and the Birth of Goth: 1980 – 1990.

This part of my life holds some very precious memories for me. I’ve always enjoyed fashion and expressing my creativity through my clothing, hair and make-up etc – It’s all a part of the fun and diversity of this magical gift of life…

I feel so very blessed to have these photos reminding me of where I have come from to create the person I am now.

Manifesting with the Faeries

I’m very excited to announce the launch of my newest creation – Manifesting with the Faeries, a guided mediation CD. Available to pre-order now, and they will arrive in time for Christmas/Yuletide.

I share some techniques on how to manifest with the faeries of love and light during this peaceful and relaxing guided visualisation and meditation.

Faeries are magical beings, and magic is an everyday occurrence in fairyland! When you connect with your fairy guide anything is possible, for the highest good of all.

Featuring the magical music of Michael Tingle of Moon and Sky Mobile Recording Studio, Michael has created this beautiful music to accompany my spoken voice. He also produced the Cd for me, thank you Michael!

The stunning fairy art on the CD cover is by the late fairy artist David Delamare, with thanks to Wendy Ice for granting me permission to feature this enchanting artwork.

Manifest your Dream Career with Fairy Power!

I’m so excited to have a column in the popular MBS magazine Soul & Spirit. My previous column was about ways to manifest your dream career with the help of the fairies.

Are you satisfied with your working life? Or do you feel there is something ‘more’ for you, where you will feel more fulfilled in your career? You can work with the fairies to help you unleash your talents and incorporate them into a real job! This month, I’m going to show you how to work with the fae so that your new career path becomes clear.

If you feel unfulfilled in your working life, don’t worry – you won’t be the first! The good news is that you can do something about it. With a little help from our fairy friends, you can take hold of the reigns of your working life so that you feel that your creativity has an outlet – and you could even make a living, too!

Perhaps you have an untapped talent that has yet to surface? The fairies are very creative beings, and magic is their go-to skill! With their help, you could find the perfect job or career path for yourself.

You can read the rest of my column online for free on the Soul & Spirit website HERE!

Feeling Inspired

I’m taking one step at a time and have started this blog, which I’m really happy about, and will be starting to produce more video content. I love talking, so putting pen to paper virtually AND literally, feels like the right (write!) thing to do!

Thanks for taking the time to join me again, and hope to see you again soon. I’m happy to receive your comments, and will do my best to reply.

With love and light

Karen

Celebrating my first blog post!

Hello! So, today I am starting a blog! I’m positive someone will be interested in reading it! I know I need to curb my explanation marks (memo to self – noted!) 😉 My name is Karen Kay, people often call me the Fairy Lady.

Over the coming days/weeks/months/years I intend to share my story, to give you some background about me, where I came from etc, and what I’m up to now. While it’s still fresh I am going to share a little about last weekend. My experience at the Hay House Writers Workshop 2017 in Bristol was amazing. I came away feeling so inspired, and the ideas are flowing.

Reid Tracy CEO of Hay House and Karen Kay

Meeting Reid Tracy was a joy, and his wisdom and experience as CEO of Hay House was really helpful and a true blessing.

The Managing Director of Hay House U.K. Michelle Pilley, was engaging as she shared practical and wise advice with a captivated audience of writers and authors-to-be.

Robert Holden was also wonderful and funny, I really enjoyed his workshop and his teaching methods.

Thanks to Julia Cameron (author of The Artist’s Way), I am writing my ‘Morning Pages’ as soon as I wake up. I can see how having a good ‘non-negotiable’ routine will be really helpful on my journey as a writer and author, and yes, I shall be setting the bar low!
