Letting Go

Hi everyone, so, I’m just going to put this ‘out there’.

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing my withdrawal from the ‘Love & Light’ guidance cards project with my friend Doreen Virtue. I am very sad to be removing my name from this project that started off as a dream-come-true. So many things have changed in a short span of time and it has become apparent that our spiritual paths are going in different directions. So, I felt it was only right to step away from something that I can no longer fully put my heart into.

Yes, we are still friends and I wish her well on her path, she has been there for me as a very good friend at some critical times in my life, and I will always be thankful for that. Our paths are different, but our friendship remains, that’s all. I’m not going into further details, and I’d appreciate it if any comments are kind and respectful in relation to this post. Scroll down the page to post a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

I’ve been working on some other exciting fairy related projects that I shall reveal in 2018. Please feel free to join my blog by signing up for notifications (top right), and/or my free newsletter.

I love you all, and really appreciate your love and support.
with love

The Faeries of Abundance

Check out my tips including a short guided meditation on how to work with the faeries of abundance on the Soul & Spirit website.

It’s easy to get caught up in the pressures of buying gifts for your loved ones, and Christmas is most certainly a time to fall into the consumerist and materialist trap. Along with expectations from others, there’s also huge expectations on our purses! So, let’s look at how we can work with our fairy friends to get those pixie purses full so we can feel abundant and give our loved ones the presents of their dreams!

Manifesting with the Faeries

I’m very excited to announce the launch of my newest creation – Manifesting with the Faeries, a guided mediation CD. Available to pre-order now, and they will arrive in time for Christmas/Yuletide.

I share some techniques on how to manifest with the faeries of love and light during this peaceful and relaxing guided visualisation and meditation.

Faeries are magical beings, and magic is an everyday occurrence in fairyland! When you connect with your fairy guide anything is possible, for the highest good of all.

Featuring the magical music of Michael Tingle of Moon and Sky Mobile Recording Studio, Michael has created this beautiful music to accompany my spoken voice. He also produced the Cd for me, thank you Michael!

The stunning fairy art on the CD cover is by the late fairy artist David Delamare, with thanks to Wendy Ice for granting me permission to feature this enchanting artwork.

The Written Word

As the letters flow from my pen onto the page, words form that sometimes take me by surprise!

Writing gives me so much joy and I’m so grateful that I am able to write as a part of my job, as a magazine publisher, magazine columnist, and author.

Almost all of us were brought up on fairytales, so it makes perfect sense to me, that I have continued to incorporate fairies and fairytales into my daily life and work as an adult! It has, and continues to be a magical and healing journey.

I love the fairytale photography of Kirsty Mitchell, especially this one, ‘The Storyteller’, from the Wonderland series. Photograph © Kirsty Mitchell kirstymitchellphotography.com

I love this beautiful idea by Tami Williamson (House of Winter), and these amazing paper wings which were literally created from the pages of old books! What a wonderful way to recycle the pages into a thing of beauty, as modelled by Jennelle Gee. Photography is copyright Tami Williamson of House of Winter.

As long as people continue to read, there will be writers, so many genres, so many stories untold, ready to manifest into the written word, at the perfect time…

Wonderful Winter Walk

I love talking a walk on a Sunday, especially when it’s a little bit chilly and everything feels so fresh. So I put on my Russian style faux fur hat to keep my ears and head warm, and off I went! I walked from Newlyn to Mousehole, and back again. Walking as quickly as I could, which was easy as it was pretty cold! I must get myself some gloves, then I will be super toasty! Watch my short video on my Instagram page!

I could see boats on the sea, and the golden light of the sun casting it’s magical light over St Michael’s Mount in the distance was enchanting. I also noticed some of the more hardy plants and flowers including the beautiful bright yellow Gorse that grew in abundance along the path.

Whenever I do this walk it always makes me think about the story of the ‘Mousehole Cat‘, which is based on the legend of a Cornish fisherman, and tells the tale of a cat who goes with its owner on a fishing expedition in rough seas.

Then I saw a poster for a production of it, so I might just pop along to see it.

I love Cows

The dream

In an ideal world all cows should be happy cows! Free to eat grass, and give their milk to their own calves. We can but dream, but we can also do something about this.

If you use Parmesan cheese on your pasta, and especially if you don’t! You might wish to sign this petition:

www.ciwf.org.uk/NotOnMyPasta

The cows that are used to produce this Italian cheese are kept in appalling conditions, and many do not know what it’s like to eat grass! (Please note I would never knowingly share shocking videos, this video just shows the reality of the way these cows are living.)

The reality

Only yesterday I was talking about how cows are content when eating grass in a field, well, these Italian “Parmesan” cows are exploited, and this natural right is taken away, what for? For the sake of cheese on pasta!

It makes me feel so sad, especially when there are so many amazing vegan cheeses available that are really tasty too. Cows are sentient beings – Please sign to help their plight.
Please please please consider drinking plant-based milk instead of dairy milk, and try plant-based cheese instead.

These conditions only occur because of supply and demand, imagine if your choice to stop using dairy products really could create a positive change in the lives of these cows, and in the world at large… just imagine xxx

Artisan Vegan Cheese: From Everyday to Gourmet

Fairy Friday!

Hi lovely readers 🙂 Today I have been recording my new meditation CD at the beautiful location of Sennen Cove in Cornwall, in my partners mobile recording studio, Moon and Sky Mobile Recording Studio.

Moon and Sky Mobile Recording Studio

I have done hundreds of recordings over the years, but recording in beautiful surroundings really does have an effect on the general vibe and atmosphere. As I was recording the meditation I was looking over the view of the waves gently crashing against the sandy shoreline.

Recording my meditation

I love days like this, and feel truly blessed to be alive. I shall update you on when the CD is finished, and the cover is designed – I’m very excited about it. I have recorded most of my meditation CD’s with Michael Tingle, and I know I’m biased when I say he’s the best! Check him out on Instagram @mtingle777 Visit his website here www.michaeltingle.com

Frolicking on the beach!

Thanksgiving

I know we don’t celebrate it here in the UK, but it always make me think about the things I am grateful for. I am thankful for life, for the gift of being able to freely share my creativity and joy with the world. I’m thankful for health, food, shelter, love, laughter, family and friendship. Life is such a beautiful blessing and I am so very thankful for that.

Fairy in the Cafe!

It was a very warm welcome in the cafe on the beach. They had the sweetest festive table decor ,and I found a sparkly golden fairy yay! It does not take much to make me happy!

Writing and Walking

But not at the same time I hasten to add! These two things, writing and walking are non-negotiable – meaning, I do them both every day. Come rain or shine a brisk walk for a minimum of 20 mins, or a longer walk for 45 mins to an hour makes me feel good. My legs love it, even though they ache sometimes, I can feel my muscles getting firmer and stronger. I try to incorporate a hill every now and again, just to spice things up! Plus it’s super good for my CV fitness (Cardiovascular activity).

Hay House 30th Anniversary Journal

With regards to my writing, one of the many things I learnt at the Hay House Writers Workshop is that;

“Writing ‘Morning Pages’ is non-negotiable” ~ Julia Cameron

To explain, ‘Morning Pages’ is like a journal that you write in every morning before you do anything else. It’s a great habit to get into, and I have come up with some real gems of ideas. Including a few possible titles for my book, which is super exciting.

The card you can see here is called Creative Writing – Archangel Gabriel: “Make time to write down your thoughts in a journal, or pen an article or book.”
