How are you faring?

The energies have certainly been interesting if not somewhat challenging at times. It’s no surprise as we navigate several astrological energies and the eclipse doorway. The effects of which can be tangible.

So I’m skipping directly to your card of the week, this time from my first fairy baby, Oracle of the Fairies, which has a special place in my heart. HIDDEN DEPTHS

Hidden Depths

Hidden Depths Something hidden is about to come to light – perhaps a secret or memory at the back of your mind. When we expose what’s hidden, we can become free.

Sometimes it’s easier to be in denial than to face a challenge, so we act as though something never happened and pretend everything is fine. However, releasing the things that have been hidden from view can be very liberating and help us to move forward with our lives.

The Fairy of Water comes to hold your hand gently and guide you during this releasing experience. One of the reasons things stay hidden is that they can contain painful memories. This is totally understandable, and if there’s been a major trauma in your life it’s important to seek professional help. Remember you don’t have to do this alone; all you need to do is take the first brave step towards wanting to be free from your past. Once you’ve done this, there are people who can help you to walk gently through the experience and teach you how to release it with love. Then you’ll be able to move forward feeling lighter and happier and ready to embrace the rest of your life positively.

The fact that this card has appeared now means you may be ready to face what has been hidden, but only do this if and when you feel the time is right. Another meaning of this card may be that someone you know is keeping a secret from you. Secrets are fine, but not when they hurt another being. It’s time to be honest with yourself and ask that others do the same for you, but be gentle with everyone concerned – including yourself – during this process.

JOY

Joy

Find happiness in the simplest things. Notice how light you feel when you’re joyful – full of joy!

This fairy king is overflowing with joy, and he wishes the same for you. He says that nothing in particular needs to happen for you to feel joy, as it’s more a state of mind and heart. It’s like counting your blessings no matter what’s going on in your life; if you can find the blessings, you’ll find the joy. Babies and young children are naturally happy and joyful, and we can learn a lesson or two from them.

Perhaps you’re feeling a lack of joy currently. This is normal because as humans we experience a plethora of feelings and emotions and there’s no right or wrong. It’s just nicer to feel joy! So, think of the situations and circumstances that give you, or once gave you, joy, and see if you can recreate them in your imagination. This will trigger a muscle memory and activate the happy hormones in your brain, restoring joy as a natural state of being.

Can you recall how it feels to be around a joyous person? Their happiness has a wonderful habit of pouring out and spreading to everyone in their vicinity! Be that person! Share your love, light, and joy! When this card and the ‘Laughter’ card appear together in a spread, it indicates a super‐fun time ahead! Open your heart and mind and prepare yourself for an entertaining ride!

Manifestation

Manifest more joy in your life by doing things that make you feel happy and contented. You could make it your mission to feel joy at least once daily, then if you can, spread it out throughout the day and night! Treat it as a game in which you’re always the joyful winner!

Affirmation

I feel joy when I count the blessings in my life. It’s easy for me to feel full of joy. My joy makes others feel joyful too!

PEACE

PEACE

Find peace externally by focusing on achieving internal peace first. Meditation is a pathway to this peace within.

As he sits cross‐legged in meditation, this fairy king has found deep spiritual peace. He wants you to discover this state within yourself too and says that by spending just a few minutes each day in quiet contemplation, you’ll soon feel calm and tranquil. This energy will then expand throughout your everyday thoughts and actions. Make meditation a daily habit and see how much more relaxed and content you feel, and how serene and drama‐free your life becomes.

The peace lily that the fairy king is holding reminds him that peace is present inside and outside. In our day‐to‐day life things happen that disturb us, but believe it or not, we can choose how we react to external events. Sometimes we may feel that we don’t have the capability to remain calm, especially during stressful situations. However, if you try to do so one step at a time, one day at a time, you could be pleasantly surprised by how swiftly peace enters your life as a result. Peace is just a thought away, and we can underestimate the power of our mind to influence our internal narrative.

When the ‘Calmness’ card appears next to this card, you can expect a period of heightened contentment in your life. While it’s present, energetically bathe in its beautiful peace and tranquility, knowing that like the tide, things can turn up to rock our metaphorical boat! Hello beautiful friends!

Wow!! What an incredible few weeks!my Froudian Faerie Weeknd went wonderfully well! I’m still processing all the magic that happened during the weekend. I will share a few photos below to give you a fairy flavour of the weekend.

My workshop went really well and those in attendance said they could feel the energy from the faerie Singers – it was pretty powerful! I was super-honoured to have THE Mr Brian Froud introduce the session too!

The whole weekend literally flew by and before I knew it, it was over in a fairy-flash! I’m so pleased there are more fairy events this year, plus my NEW Fairy Retreat in Glastonbury in November at Chalice Well Meeting Room.

KNOWLEDGE

 

Knowledge

It’s time for you to absorb knowledge through study. Knowledge can come to us via books or life experience – use yours wisely.

It’s pointless to acquire knowledge just for the sake of it, says this fairy queen – filling our heads with facts for no particular reason. Instead, her wish is that you gather the knowledge you need to perform the task or tasks at hand. Sometimes we read books to become more knowledgeable, and other times we bury our head in a book to avoid being with the ‘self.’ She also reminds you that you have an inherent knowledge that comes from wisdom. Perhaps it’s time for you to write your own teaching memoir based on your life experience.

Receiving this card could mean that you’re gathering knowledge for either self‐education or home education. Perhaps you’re home‐schooling your children. Or considering signing up to a night school, college, or university as a first‐time or mature student. Maybe you’re a teacher and are thinking it’s time to expand your skills. This card appears as a sign to ‘go for it.’ You’re never too old to learn more!

This fairy queen loves books as physical containers of knowledge, but she advises you not to hold on to books unnecessarily. How many of us have shelves laden with volumes that we’ve never read and have no intention of reading!? Is that you? If so, it could be time for a clear‐out; you could donate some of your books to a charity or to friends and family.

Manifest more knowledge by practical means: Read books and study the things that bring your heart joy. Become like a sponge, absorbing all the information that you need.

I am naturally wise and knowledgeable. I absorb any knowledge I require with ease.

Meditation to Connect with the ‘Singers’ with Karen Kay, with Intro from Brian Froud

3pm upstairs in the Council Chambers at Glastonbury Town Hall on Saturday 2nd March 2024.

A meditation journey led by Karen Kay into the magical world of the faerie ‘Singers‘ from Brian Froud’s Oracle of the Faeries’ deck. Brian Froud will introduce this session by talking about who and what the ‘Singers’ are.

A few years ago Karen asked Brian if he would paint on her healing drum and he gracefully obliged and painted a  faerie ‘Singer‘ of healing. Karen will be playing this drum during the meditation journey.

No meditation experience is necessary just bring an open mind and heart and prepare to experience these magical Froudian faerie beings.

PROSPERITY!

Prosperity

Know that you’re already prosperous.

Prosperity is your birthright.

This noble fairy queen wishes you infinite prosperity. She says that life is a cornucopia of goodness, and you need only declare prosperity as your own and believe that you wholeheartedly deserve it. She reminds you to be generous with the affluence that comes your way. Share and give in the full knowledge that as it flows out, so it flows in. What you give out comes back to you.

We’re born abundant and prosperous – it’s our natural state of being. Prosperity is an energy and it’s just a thought away. If the ‘Success’ card appears alongside this card, it’s asking you to be open to the success and prosperity that’s coming your way. Are you ready to receive the beautiful blessings that await you? If so, then declare it and claim them now, by saying YES! YES! YES!

This card is also asking if you’re being too frivolous with your prosperity, perhaps squandering it on unnecessary or unhealthy habits. Be honest as you observe your reaction to this statement. It’s not a judgement; it merely highlights any gray areas that may need to be addressed, so your affluence can flow fully and freely in a positive way.

Sometimes our prosperity can feel blocked because we don’t believe we’re fully worthy of it. Look honestly at any feelings of unworthiness, and release and heal them. Imagine that your prosperity can be shared with others and really make a difference, not only in your life, but in theirs too.

Manifestation

Manifest prosperity by believing/knowing you’re already prosperous. Surrender to the flow of prosperity in your life. Give and receive equally, knowing that abundance is limitless.

Affirmation

Prosperity flows to me and manifests in beautiful ways every day,

and I accept it with gratitude, grace, and love.

LUCK

Be receptive to welcoming good fortune into your life. You also have the ability to create your own luck.

The gift of infinite luck and good fortune are bestowed on you by this fairy queen. She brings you all the symbols of luck to amplify your powers of attraction, so you’ll literally become a magnet for luck! She says that we create our own luck too – yes, it’s true that some people are born with a silver spoon in their mouth, but we all have the capability to create good fortune for ourselves. Our view of good fortune is as limited (or unlimited) as our imagination! How freeing does that make you feel!? So, spread your wings, soar high, and receive all the love and luck the human and fairy worlds have to offer!

Perhaps you feel that you’re on an unlucky streak. If so, simply call upon the Fairy Queen of Luck to remove any obstacles that stand in the way of you

receiving your full quota of good fortune! It’s worth keeping in mind that ‘where attention goes, energy flows,’ so make a point of noticing the blessings in your life.

When the ‘Prosperity’ card appears next to this card, prepare for a windfall or a lucky streak for the highest good of all – this is luck in the form of financial abundance. See what comes up for you when you ask yourself, ‘Do I feel worthy?’ Your response will show you any areas of your life that need work.

Manifestation

Manifest luck by placing symbols and tokens of good fortune around you, on your fairy altar perhaps. Meditate and ‘know’ that good luck is yours, then be open to receive it. You could also keep a ‘lucky’ journal, in which you keep track of the good things that happen to you.

I am lucky, I was born lucky, I create my own luck, and I am a magnet for luck.

Magic and Miracles

Allow yourself to acknowledge the very real possibility of magical miracles.

An abundance of magic and miracles is what this fairy couple wish for you. They ask that you notice the small miracles in your life and see how extraordinary they really are. Observe the patterns at work and play as the divine weaves magical happenings all around you. Feel worthy of receiving these marvelous blessings.

Through combining their beliefs, the Fairy King and Queen of Magic and Miracles have manifested a beautiful fairy‐tale castle home. A golden path winds toward the castle, and it’s paved with good intentions. They remind you that ‘you’ll see it when you believe it!’ (My thanks to the wonderful late Dr. Wayne Dyer for those magical words.)

Not everything needs to be explained away. A flower is a mini‐miracle and it’s also so magical, yet a scientist might analyze that flower and try to explain why it is what it is, without considering that it manifested from a tiny seed. Now that’s real magic and a true miracle!

This card is also saying that you may be caught up in a loop of mundanity and have forgotten that magic and miracles can and do happen. So, give your mind and your living space a spring clean and allow love and light to shine on you so you can see that life is truly magical. Sometimes we forget that we are magic, so the appearance of this card is a reminder to be open to the enchantment and wonder of life. The meaning of any card that appears next to this one is amplified.

APPRECIATION

Appreciation
Notice the blessings in your life. Appreciate the little things and give thanks for them, as doing so will lead to more blessings.

This flower fairy queen appreciates you, and her greatest wish is that you learn to appreciate yourself and everything in your life. She says that, as it is with the similar quality of gratitude, the more appreciation you show, the more you’ll have to appreciate! Try to see the beauty and blessings in all things.

She also reminds you to cherish what’s right in front of you, and gently advises you not to take things or people for granted. Always show your appreciation to those you love and who love you. When we truly value what we already have, we can get more of what we desire. So, what if we were to desire more appreciation? How wonderful would the world be then?

Our sense of appreciation is heightened by conscious observation; when we closely examine a flower, for example, we detect the fragrance and see the petals, designed by the divine, the colors, the shapes… there’s so much to admire when we fully open our eyes and see through the filter of our heart.

This card can also be asking if you can appreciate the lesson when times are tough. It’s much easier to do that in hindsight. So, what if you could acknowledge the gift offered in every moment of your life, without judgement? Truly be grateful for each magical moment you experience and see it as the blessing it really is.

Manifest appreciation into your life by looking at the world with fresh, innocent eyes. See the beauty in everything, with an open heart and mind. Show and tell others that you hold them dear.
Affirmation:
I appreciate the little things in my life, and in turn, the little things become bigger things to appreciate.

LOVE and LIGHT

Love and Light
Surround yourself and others with the beautiful energy of love and light.

As she radiates her wonderful energy to all humankind, this fairy queen is wishing that you always feel the love and light that surrounds you and every one of us. She reminds you that you are love and light, and to love always and in all ways! And she also says that wishing someone ‘love and light’ is the most beautiful blessing.

This card often appears when you’re in need of a boost of loving, golden energy, filled with divine light. Be open to receiving this gift and absorb as much of it as you need, just like a sponge. The source of this love and light is infinite, just like you. Simply imagine golden, love‐filled light flowing into your heart and then opening out to fill your room, home, town/city, the planet, the entire universe – this is a very powerful visualization that can be sent in a tangible way.

Are you being called upon to share some love and light with a family member or friend? You can do this either in their presence or remotely – know that it will be received if they’re open to it. Always seek their permission first, though: You can speak to their soul during meditation if you’re unable to ask them in person. Perhaps there’s a challenging situation that requires love and light to illuminate any gray areas. Remember, shadows cannot exist in the presence of light.

Manifestation
Manifest love and light by using your intention to radiate it to all beings. Remember that you’re from the divine and therefore you already have access to love and light – because you are that! Love and light are in your DNA! So, shine away!

Affirmation
I am love and I am light. I shine my love and light into the world, and it comes back to me multiplied.

VERSATILITY

Pick up those metaphorical plates and start spinning them! Add mastery of multitasking to your toolkit of skills.

He’s a master of versatility, but this fairy king says that you don’t literally have to spin plates to be versatile: this feat symbolizes multitasking and getting a multitude of things accomplished simultaneously, all while smiling (please note the smiling is optional!) He reminds you that if your behavior becomes too ‘fixed’ it can hinder your progress in life, so being more flexible and fluid will enable you to be spontaneous and move more easily and harmoniously. When we flow, we can achieve so much more.

Manifestation

Manifest versatility by staying calm and focused when there are many tasks on your metaphorical plate. Visualize everything being completed easily within a given time frame or due date.
