Friendship

Fairies and humans alike need friends. Now is the time to seek out those who will support and encourage you on your journey to fulfil your dreams.

We all need someone we can trust, to share our private thoughts with. This card tells you to reach out to old or new friends, to gather your friends around you, for there’s power in numbers. Friends can offer advice that can give us hope and another point of view. Fairies, too, gather in groups to support each other and there’s great wisdom and comfort in doing this. Like‐minded and like‐hearted friends are like fairy dust shining in our darkest and lightest hours and are always there for each other, no matter what time of day or night it is. True friends celebrate our successes and our joy for they’re truly happy when we’re happy.

This card is also asking if you are being a good friend – or have you neglected your friendships? Perhaps an old colleague or school friend needs you to reach out. Close your eyes and see who pops into your mind, then get in touch with them – perhaps give them a call or send an email, just to say hi and check they’re doing okay. Friendships can last a lifetime and should be treasured.

It could also be time to make new friends, so join a class to learn a new skill or go for a walk at a popular park or attraction. By getting out and exploring you’re much more likely to meet others with similar interests than if you stay at home. You never know, you could make an #FFF (Fairy Friend Forever)!

Find Balance

Find the balance between your work, rest and playtime and you will have more energy, harmony and productivity in your life. Take a power nap.

‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ You’ve probably heard this before. Does it apply to you or someone you know? Are you working too hard and not allowing enough time for rest and play? Are you feeling bored – or are you in danger of becoming boring? Be truthful with yourself when answering.

Even though fairies are known to be super‐hard workers, they also know how to rest and play. The fairies are flying in now to remind you to take a break and give your body and mind a well‐deserved rest. The problem with work is that once you’ve completed one task there’s always another waiting – a bit like housework! But even though it may feel as though you need to rush to get everything done, taking some time out can actually give you more energy to complete the task at hand.

Fairies love to snooze, and they’re telling you that 40 winks in the afternoon (also known as a power nap) could be beneficial for you. The strong message here is to get some rest!

This card could also be saying that you’re playing too much. Perhaps you’re procrastinating when you ought to be working. You need to be really honest with yourself about this, as only you will know if you have the right balance of work, rest and play in your life.

SOLITUDE

Deck: Oracle of the Fairies

Solitude

Think of ‘being alone’ as meaning you are ‘all one’ and in total harmony with everything. The greatest treasures are those that wait silently during your quiet times.

Sometimes when we think of being alone it can bring a fear of feeling lonely or melancholy, as we often associate being alone with these feelings. Here’s the good news: it really is okay to be alone – being comfortable in your own skin and in your own beautiful company. How free does this make you feel to know this?

Tuning in to the deep places within, where our inner treasures reside, can be a profound and enlightening experience. The spiritual essence of this experience is peace – peace within and without. Experiencing true peace is also something that can only happen when we spend precious time in solitude, in contemplation or meditation, even if it’s for only a few minutes each day.

When we’re out of balance, being alone can make us feel lonely and sorry for ourselves, and we might still feel like this even when we’re in company. Counterbalance this by observing your blessings and it won’t be long before you’re in a state of gratitude for your own divine company.

If this card has popped up for you today, the fairies are urging you to take some time out and spend it alone. It’s in such moments, of being alone, that the messages of the fairies can come through more clearly – the increased spiritual space enables you to be more receptive and aware of any subtle messages and signs from the fairy realm.

Alternatively, this card might be saying that you’re spending too much time alone, so consider this too.

Fairies on TV! Spreading love and light across the nation!

Wow what an amazing summer solstice it’s been, here in the UK! I was invited to appear on TV in a secret fairy forest as a part of the UK’s largest breakfast show, This Morning on ITV. I have shared a couple of clips on my social media pages, plus a few photos from the show and behind-the-scenes below. Alison Hammond and Dermot  O’Leary were in the London Studio while presenter Will Best chatted with us in the secret forest for this magical outside broadcast. I had the best time sharing fairy giggles, love, light and joy across the nation! This is the fifth time I have appeared on this show as the resident This Morning Fairy Correspondent!  I love the TM team so much! I’m feeling very blessed and grateful.

Manifestation

The minute you think about something, it manifests astrally; as soon as you write it on paper, it can manifest physically. Manifestation is easier than you think!

Manifestation

The wish of this magical fairy queen is that your manifestation(s) come true, and that you can also step into your own manifesting power – to bring into this reality all the things that make your heart sing.

She recommends calling in the energy of the gnomes on your manifestation journey. The gnomes are well known in the fairy realm for being hard‐ working manifesters who don’t stop until the task at hand is completed, which is why the Fairy Queen of Manifestation wears a golden gnome pendant as a reminder of their magical powers. ‘Teamwork makes the dream work,’ she says. A simple way to invoke the gnomes is to place a garden gnome in your outside space or on a windowsill – this is a signal that they’re welcome.

If you get out of your own way, try to stop focusing on the how, why, when, and where, and simply allow the universal divine energy – combined with the fairies of manifestation and your own heart‐ fueled intentions – you’ll find things can manifest far quicker that you thought!

If you already own this deck, and this card appears alongside ‘Wishes Granted’ and/or ‘Magic and Miracles,’ you can be certain that super‐powerful manifesting magic is a‐fairy‐ foot! We’re always manifesting things via our thoughts, so it’s important to be mindful of yours – what you focus your attention on is like a signpost to the universe, and the fairies.

Write your wish/desire on paper, then open your mind and heart to inspiration or ideas that come to you in the following days or weeks. Doing this in conjunction with the moon cycles, in particular the new moon as it builds to the full moon, will add extra energy. PASSION

Tune in to your passion and express this in the world. Give your passion wings and allow it to be released. 

PASSION

This fairy queen is so absorbed in expressing her passion for music that she hardly notices if anyone else is present. It’s her wish that you too feel this zeal in your life as you devote yourself to the things and activities that delight your heart and make your soul sing. She says that when your passion is channeled through excitement and enthusiasm, everyone will be able to feel the intention behind whatever you’re doing or creating. It’s time to ask yourself what you’re passionate about. Whatever it is, make time for it, as your batteries will surely be recharged when it’s expressed with full fairy fervor!

This card can appear when you feel a lack of passion in your life, or in a relationship. If this is the case, take a little trip down memory lane and recall a time when you did feel passionate about life or a particular person. Ask yourself what if anything has changed. Is it you or them? If you can take yourself to the root of the issue, you have a real chance of igniting your passion again.

When the ‘Passion’ and ‘Enthusiasm’ cards appear together in a spread, prepare for an active expression of passion to manifest! What lights you up? Do that! The fairies are right behind you, encouraging you to express yourself.

SUCCESS

Welcome success into your life. Simply ‘trying’ to do something is a success, regardless of the outcome.

Success

As she hands you a golden key to the fairy door, this fairy queen wishes you infinite success in your life, including any endeavors you’re currently focusing on. She asks you to contemplate how you define success, reminding you that it isn’t measured by how much you have, in terms of material wealth, but in how you feel about yourself. It’s about achievements that make you feel good and boost your self‐esteem.

She adds, with a smile, that you can still get the car, the house, the partner, and the job. However, ultimately, success is about having a balanced perspective. Enjoy the material things but see their true worth in the grand scheme of things. Love and health are far more valuable assets.

Perhaps you’re feeling the opposite of successful, a failure, even. If this is the case, remember that simply getting out of bed in the morning can be seen as success. This may sound strange, but if someone’s feeling depressed, tackling even the most basic of things can sometimes feel like a gigantic struggle; therefore, doing the simple, small things really does represent success in their eyes. Maybe this relates to you or someone you know. Remember, one step at a time, one day at a time.

Manifestation

Manifest success by opening your mind and heart to achieving whatever it is you desire. Be grateful, and success will surely be attracted to you!

Affirmation

I am successful and I give thanks for all my achievements in life. Success flows easily and naturally to me.

Believe in Magic

Open your eyes and see the magic that’s all around in nature. The Fairy of the Northern Lights says you are part of nature, so you are magical too.

Believe in Magic

When the Fairy of the Northern Lights appears, she comes to tell you to open your eyes and see the magic that’s all around you. The aurora borealis is pure magic, and seeing the colourful ribbons of light dancing in the sky is on many a wish list. Perhaps you, too, have felt drawn to see this phenomenon in real life? If so, this card is confirmation that it’s time to start making those plans. Or maybe another faraway location is calling to you? When nature beckons you, your spirit knows the way to go.

The message may not be so literal, however. Instead, this magical fairy could be flying in to remind you to open your eyes and heart to the magic and wonder of the natural world, so much of which we take for granted. The Fairy of the Northern Lights says, ‘When you’re taking a walk, stop: look up, look down and see the magic that’s all around!’ Because sometimes we need a gentle reminder to stop and smell the roses, and revel in the magic of nature. Perhaps you’re being called to inspire someone else to see the world through new eyes of wonderment. Children see magic all around them; it’s natural to them. If you feel stuck in a rut, tune in to your inner child and learn to see the world through the eyes of a youngster once again.

We’re in the National Hall, the second largest at Olympia. The front door is on the corner of Kensington High Street and Olympia Way. When you get off the overground at Kensington (Olympia), turn left and walk parallel to the train track until you get to the road.  It’s on Google as the Apex Room.

BALANCE

Strive for balance within and without. The world is easier to navigate from a balanced viewpoint.

Balance

Bring balance into your life and you’ll notice how harmonious it then becomes, advises this fairy king. We can easily tell when we’re off‐balance – it feels as if nothing’s flowing. It’s also obvious when we’re in balance – everything tends to proceed more agreeably and our decision‐making is colored by our natural inner or higher wisdom, in tune with the divine. Considering both the good and the not‐so‐good aspects of a situation, and then using your intuition and discernment to reach a mature conclusion before you act, will create more balance in your life.

This card can also be saying that it’s time to find more equilibrium in your working and private life. Are you getting enough rest and play? Doing controlled physical exercise like Tai Chi, Qigong,

or yoga will help to bring your body into balance, which in turn will have an impact on your mind and spirit. Spiritual stability is achieved when we’re able to reside fully in the ‘now,’ in this moment, without attachment to the past or future. We flow more readily when we and our life are in balance.

Manifestation

You can manifest balance by pausing briefly before you speak or act; tune in to your body first and see how it feels. Think carefully about all sides of a situation before reaching an opinion or a decision.

Affirmation

I am naturally balanced. The more balanced I am, the more confident and proactive in decision-making I become.

Ancient Monuments where I live, plus your card for the week ahead

Hello beautiful being,

We made it through the Eclipse yay! Phew, I found it super challenging, but happy to say the energies have cleared.

I ventured out to some local ancient monuments near where I live, I even crawled through the holed stone at Men-An-Tol.

“The holed stone has long been the subject of legends relating to healing and divination. Formerly known as the Crick stone, it was thought that to crawl through the hole nine times widdershins (against the sun or anti-clockwise) was a cure for backache, rickets and scrofula. Children would be passed through three times. Also, if a brass pin was placed on the stone, questions could be answered by the movement of the pin. It is sometimes used nowadays in ceremonies involving rebirth or transformation into other realities.” ~ Source cornishancientsites.com

Whilst at this site, I placed my Oracle of the Fairies cards on top of the holed stone, and a gentle breeze came and blew three cards onto the ground! One of the cards flipped over, and to my delight, and surprise it was “Magical Gateway“! How perfect is that! Another one was ‘Believe in Magic“! The third card shall remain a mystery as I did not turn it over! Whoops!

It reminded me of an early edition of my FAE Magazine (issue 15, summer 2011)

Magical Gateway

It takes courage and trust to venture into the unknown, yet this is where the greatest rewards are. It’s time to step boldly forward without looking back.

The fairies are asking you to step through the fairy door and into their world of magic and wonder. They’re telling you that fairy tales are real and that you’re never too old to believe in fairies. Perhaps you’ve been thinking about embarking on the fairy path? If you’re using this deck, the chances are you already have more than a passing interest in the ways of the fae. If so, now is the time to walk through the fairy door and fully embrace your magical fairy self. The golden key to this fairy door resides inside your heart.

It’s important to know that once you step through this magical doorway your life will be changed. You’ll see and feel nature in a deeper way; you’ll feel more connected to the plants, trees and flowers and develop a deeper compassion for all living things. You might even find yourself becoming vegan or vegetarian, if you’re not already. Your interest in conservation and the environment could also be heightened. These are all traits of someone who has ventured through the fairy door, so consider this carefully.

If you’re at all unsure whether you should walk through the fairy door, meditate on the question until you know in your heart that it’s the right thing to do. Once you’ve passed through the door, prepare for more magic and joy to enter your life, knowing that you’re always safe, protected and loved.

How are you faring?

The energies have certainly been interesting if not somewhat challenging at times. It’s no surprise as we navigate several astrological energies and the eclipse doorway. The effects of which can be tangible.

So I’m skipping directly to your card of the week, this time from my first fairy baby, Oracle of the Fairies, which has a special place in my heart. HIDDEN DEPTHS

Hidden Depths

Hidden Depths Something hidden is about to come to light – perhaps a secret or memory at the back of your mind. When we expose what’s hidden, we can become free.

Sometimes it’s easier to be in denial than to face a challenge, so we act as though something never happened and pretend everything is fine. However, releasing the things that have been hidden from view can be very liberating and help us to move forward with our lives.

The Fairy of Water comes to hold your hand gently and guide you during this releasing experience. One of the reasons things stay hidden is that they can contain painful memories. This is totally understandable, and if there’s been a major trauma in your life it’s important to seek professional help. Remember you don’t have to do this alone; all you need to do is take the first brave step towards wanting to be free from your past. Once you’ve done this, there are people who can help you to walk gently through the experience and teach you how to release it with love. Then you’ll be able to move forward feeling lighter and happier and ready to embrace the rest of your life positively.

The fact that this card has appeared now means you may be ready to face what has been hidden, but only do this if and when you feel the time is right. Another meaning of this card may be that someone you know is keeping a secret from you. Secrets are fine, but not when they hurt another being. It’s time to be honest with yourself and ask that others do the same for you, but be gentle with everyone concerned – including yourself – during this process.
